Hillbilly Baby!

Ryan took this picture of my little baby boy...I'm so proud. LOL I think this was the day we went to my department picnic at Camp Taylor. I think Alex was ready for a nap!

Okay, so I know that every parent thinks their child is special...But I swear Alex really looked like he was trying to tell us something. As soon as we got the camera on him he became less talkative, but it still looks like he's ready to say something. Is he going to be a little chatterbox?

I had planned on taking tons of pictures, but this is the only one I took! Alex was very cute in his Kenneth Cole jeans and sweater. My little Sweet Pea.

Today we went to the St. James Court Art Fair. It's an annual event and I had never been. Sara came with us. We picked Sara up early (well, 9:30 is early for us) and headed down to Old Louisville. We parked at Manual H.S. and walked to the fare. It's huge!!! I think there are something like 900 vendors. It's amazing. There are booths from all over the country. Ryan and I were amazed at how many booths had pictures of Italy. We saw beautiful pictures of Porto Fino, Cinque Terre and Venice. We even saw pictures of Vicenza. One of the artists had lived in Vicenza in the 70s. She was surprised that we recognized Piazza Dei Signori. Ryan and I realized that we really need to take the time to go through our many pictures and pick some out to blow up. Some of the pictures were going for hundreds of dollars!
Ryan and I ended up buying a wooden puzzle with Alex's name on it. We also came away with a Christmas ornament with our names on it (even Katie's name fit). Oh, and I found a wine rack (for three bottles) made out of horseshoes. It sounds a little crazy, but it's cute and makes sense for Louisville, KY. I'll have to take pictures and post them up here so that you can see.
Alex did very well. He slept part of the time and part of the time he was sitting up in his stroller checking out the sights. We decided to make the fair a yearly tradistion. We had a lot of fun.
