Yesterday we had Alex's b-day party. I think he had fun. He was a little overwhelmed at first, but got warmed up quickly. He received some really neat gifts. They're all over the living room right now. He insists on playing with everything all at once. Mom got him the cutest rocking chair from Cracker Barrel. It's adorable.
We really wish you could have been here. We're really looking forward to being there in September. We love you very much. Give grandma a hug for me.
